So yeah, I spent a lot of time on the art in this one, and it certainly shows. Sorry there can't be a better joke to back it up, but hey, it's a delicate balance. The domain mentioned in the comic actually works. This is because I am deeply committed to my craft. I also registered bobscomic.blogspot.com. This is because I am deeply committed to urls which are possible to type.

A word about the subject matter: Blogspot is flooded with two things: spammers and useless early adopters. Seriously, try typing in any random combination of two relatively common words. Chances are very good that there's one post, usually consisting simply of the word "test," and the blog has been registered since 2000 with zero activity. Isn't there some way to purge that shit? My humble recommendation is a requirement that at least one post per year must be made. It doesn't even have to make sense; write 3 random characters and that counts. Blogs that have a buildup of 50 or so posts over the course of 2 years gain permanent deletion immunity, and everyone is happy, right?

It's because of ideas like this that I make the big bucks.

Shading

Sorry guys, still no comic. Just experimenting with some new shading techniques, and I really like the results. The picture itself seems a little emo, and it reminds me a bit of Spider-Man: Blue, which you should check out if you enjoy Peter Parker being mopey. (I do!)
