Jumpin' East of Java

Coffee for me is a WMD of beverages. I never really drink caffeine during the school year unless it's absolutely necessary, because I get super jittery and tend to feel awful for days afterwards. It's probably a combination of caffeine high and sleep deprivation, and it sucks like you don't even know. I had to subject myself to its horrors today on account of many projects, midterms, and problem sets converging in a two-day span.

There Will Be No Part Two

Dear Mr. Verbinski,

Back in 2003, you made a movie called Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. It was pretty ok! There were explosions, and Johnny Depp was funny sometimes. I ate some popcorn.

In 2006 you made another one. It had some good moments I guess. Lots of action! Orlando Bloom is dreamy.

Then, last year, you made another another one. It was bad! Not quite as bad as Transformers (oh, that Michael Bay!) but still pretty bad. I did not pay any money to see it, but I still feel dirty and used, like one of your cheap prostitutes. Please do not make more.

Radio Drama

I went back to my old DJ job at WNUR this morning after taking a quarter off. Pretty much the same as I remember it, except now I'm the first person to get there in the morning, so I have to turn on all the equipment. Fun times!
