The first panel of this comic is true. The last one I just thought. The guy I am talking to is my research group head. He is from Germany? I think he is from Germany. Sorry I haven't updated in a long time. I have a bunch of newspaper comics to upload; I'll get around to them soon.

My subconscious has impeccable taste

This is essentially a verbatim conversation I had with Andrew. It's 

also pretty obvious I have not drawn anything in about three weeks.

I drew this. It might be part of a longer form comic I have been thinking of making, if I can ever manage to write something that doesn't sound like a hipster emo wet-dream. My mind, it is not so good at that.

It is a combination of vector block shapes and wobbly tablet shading. The original had black pen outline over the edges, but I like the way it looked when I hid that layer, so I went ahead and left it hidden. This is not a style I use a lot, but it's growing on me.

Based on this news story. Unfortunately, Willie's shirt printed quite a bit darker in the paper, making "endowment" very difficult to read. Lesson learned.

Well hey there kids. My first comic in the Daily was today! I am assuming they have no problem with me reprinting it here:

1. Northwestern is ranked 12th by U.S.News and World Reports.*
   
2. Ohio State is ranked much lower, but have a fine footballing program!
   
3. We are not so great at the football contests! Hilarity ensues.

* Fun Fact! The lack of space between the "S." and the "N" in "U.S.News" is not a typo! That is how it is actually written, because they are Not Very Bright.

Hey all, I've managed to acquire a post at The Daily Northwestern as a comic writer/artist. It required the incredible effort of: responding to an email. Difficult!
